2. Yellow Pages Canada confirms cyber attack as Black Basta leaks data

Yellow Pages Canada has confirmed a cyber attack on its systems after Black Basta, a hacking group, leaked some of the stolen data. The leaked data, including emails, usernames, and passwords, affects customers who used the YP’s “Dealer Web” platform to place advertisements. Yellow Pages Canada has taken measures such as resetting all passwords and notifying affected customers to mitigate the impact of the attack.
