Pharmacies across the United States are reporting that they are having difficulty getting prescriptions to patients because of a cyberattack on a unit of UnitedHealth. The cyberattack prevented some pharmacies from processing prescriptions to insurance companies to receive payment. GoodRx, which offers discounts on prescriptions. also said its services were disrupted.

2. RCMP investigating cyber attack as its website remains down

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Canada’s national police force has disclosed that it recently faced a cyber attack targeting its networks. The federal body has started its criminal investigation into the matter as it works to determine the scope of the security breach.

3. About 13,000 home security customers were shown someone else’s home

Wyze, a smart camera maker, said that some users last week saw footage from cameras that weren’t their own because of a security glitch. The company sent an email to its users that camera footage inaccessible because of an glitch with its cloud computing partner AWS. As Wyze worked to bring the cameras back, about 13,000 users “experienced a security issue” where they saw wrong thumbnails from other users in the Wyze app.
