1. Chinese hackers raided US government email accounts by exploiting Microsoft cloud bug

The Chinese hacking group Storm-0558, compromised approximately 25 email accounts, including government agencies, as well as related consumer accounts linked to individuals associated with these organizations.

Chinese hackers exploited a zero-day flaw in Microsoft’s cloud environment to access senior U.S. officials’ emails. The attack affected 25 organizations, including government agencies, but classified systems remained secure.

3. Personal Information of 11 Million Patients Stolen in Data Breach at HCA Healthcare

Medical giant HCA(Hospital Corporation of America) Healthcare disclosed a data breach in which personal information of approximately 11 million patients was stolen. The breach was discovered after a threat actor posted stolen information on an underground forum.
