1. Australia says hacks surging, state-sponsored groups targeting critical infrastructure
According to a government report, hackers have increased assaults on Australia’s critical infrastructure, businesses and homes. 2. Cyberattack on ICBC’s US unit to not have material impact on parent bank – Fitch
ICBC, the world’s largest lender by assets,experienced a ransomware, LockBit 3.0., attack on its financial service. This won’t have a material impact on its Chinese parent but it emphasizes growing threats to global payment networks from such incidents.
